Transfer news: Arsenal and Liverpool both agree to sign Kerem Demirbay for £28m - reports

Arsenal and Liverpool have agreed to meet the £28m asking price to sign Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay at the end of the season, according to reports in Germany. Demirbay has developed into one of the most highly-rated midfielders in the Bundesliga since joining Hoffenheim from Hamburg in the summer of 2016. The 24-year-old is now a regular in Julian Nagelsmann's starting XI and his impressive form has seen him earn his first two caps for Germany. It seems Demirbay's potential has also caught the eye of clubs in the Premier League, as SportsBild claim both Arsenal and Liverpool are among those chasing his signature.
