Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger opens up on Jonny Evans transfer bid

Arsenal and Manchester City were heavily linked with the Northern Ireland defender throughout the January transfer window and but it was the Gunners who made a £12million bid on deadline day. But West Brom dismissed Arsenal’s offer swiftly and Wenger says the reason for the low bid was a lack of money. "I said many times that we did what we wanted to do but not all that we wanted to do," he told BT Sport.
