Arsenal FC news: Arsene Wenger offers positive update on injured star Alexandre Lacazette

Arsene Wenger has revealed Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is set to return from injury ahead of schedule. The France international underwent surgery on a knee problem last week and it was feared he would be out for up to six weeks. However, having been assessed, Wenger is now hopeful Lacazette could be back playing within four weeks. “He’s doing well,” said Wenger. "I think he will be ahead of his planned recovery. “It should be four weeks, maybe three and a half weeks, so his response has been good.”
