Internationals: Sari and Dominique feature in win
Sari van Veenendaal and Dominique Janssen both played the full 90 minutes as the Netherlands began their Algarve Cup campaign with a 6-2 win over Japan. Lieke Martens and Lineth Beerensteyn gave Oranje a two-goal lead within the opening 10 minutes, with Siri Worm and Shanice van de Sanden doubling their advantage before half-time. Emi Nakajima and Mana Iwabuchi then struck for Japan, but Stephanie van der Gragt and Martens were on target to secure a comfortable victory for the Netherlands.
