Everton 'want Arsene Wenger as next manager'

Everton have reportedly earmarked long-serving Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as a candidate to replace Sam Allardyce as manager. Wenger's future has once again come under intense speculation following his side's 2-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, a result which condemned the Gunners to four straight defeats for the first time since 2002. The Europa League is now Arsenal's only hope of salvaging something from the season with 13 points separating them from the top four, but they come up against an in-form AC Milan side in the last 16. Wenger still has more than a year remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and insists that he is capable of turning the situation...
