Jack Butland is reportedly on the verge of a move to Liverpool.
Liverpool will be looking to bolster their ranks at the end of the season in a bid to try and close the gap to Manchester City. Manager Jurgen Klopp is thought to have put a goalkeeper at the top of his priority list after being unimpressed by both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius. According to the Mirror, the Reds are closing in on a record-breaking £40million deal for Butland. The transfer would make the England shot-stopper the most expensive goalkeeper of all time - eclipsing the £34.7m City paid for Ederson.
