Patrick Vieira 'honoured' to be linked with Arsenal job

New York City FC boss Patrick Vieira has welcomed links with the Arsenal job and insists that he is ready to manage a a team in Europe. The former Gunners midfielder is understood to be one of the top choices to succeed Arsene Wenger once the long-serving Frenchman steps down from his post next month. Vieira, who is due to be out of contract with the Major League Soccer side at the end of the year, helped Arsenal to three Premier League titles and three FA Cups during his playing days.
