Arsenal have reportedly made an improved offer to Jack Wilshere in an attempt to end the contract standoff with the midfielder. Wilshere is due to become a free agent next month after failing to agree fresh terms with the Gunners since opening negotiations earlier this season. The England international is said to have originally been offered wages of £90,000 a week, which is a drop of £20,000 from his current salary, but The Mirror reports that the North London outfit have now made a better offer.
