'Future manager' ... Arsenal fans have very high hopes for four-time trophy winner

Sunday was an emotional day for all those connected to Arsenal football club as they bid farewell to manager Arsene Wenger, as well as defender Per Mertesacker. The Gunners have two Premier League games left – against Leicester City and Huddersfield – but at the weekend the club staged their final home fixture of the season. It was the last time that Wenger will oversee a match at the Emirates as he calls time on his two-decade spell at the North London outfit. The majority of the focus, understandably, surrounded the manager, but Mertesacker was also marking his final home fixture at Arsenal.
