Kevin Campbell: 'Aaron Ramsey should be named Arsenal captain'

Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has claimed that Aaron Ramsey should be given the captaincy by new Gunners manager Unai Emery. The Wales international is out of contract next summer but has reportedly been offered a bumper new deal by the club in a bid to help Emery build the team around the midfielder. Campbell, who played for Arsenal between 1988 and 1995, believes that Ramsey "ticks quite a lot of boxes" and should be considered for the armband ahead of the likes of Jack Wilshere and Petr Cech.
