Emmanuel Eboue arrested on suspicion on arson

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of arson. The 35-year-old has been without a club since leaving Sunderland in April 2016, having failed to make a single appearance for the Black Cats. Concerns have since developed over his welfare following reports of financial issues, and The Mirror now reports that he has been taken to a police station in North London on suspicion of arson and malicious communications outside a home in Enfield.
