Emery: Iwobi will sign new contract

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has confirmed Alex Iwobi is set to sign a new contract with the club. The winger made 39 appearances for Arsenal last season, starting 22 Premier League games, in which he scored three times and recorded a further five assists. The 22-year-old, who featured for Nigeria at the World Cup, has two years left on his current deal, and Emery says the Arsenal academy graduate will sign an extension having returned for pre-season training.
