Alexandre Lacazette happy to fight for Arsenal starting spot

Alexandre Lacazette has rejected claims that he wanted to leave Arsenal during the summer transfer window and has vowed to fight for a starting spot. The France international found himself relegated to the bench in the opening few weeks of the season after being usurped by January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, leading to suggestions that he could move on. Lacazette took full advantage of his first start of the season at the weekend, however, netting a late winner for the Gunners in their 3-2 win over Cardiff City.
