Lewes 0-9 Arsenal: How it happened

Vivianne Miedema and Kim Little both hit hat-tricks as we ran out 9-0 winners over Lewes Women in the Continental Tyres Cup. We got off to a flying start thanks to Danielle van de Donk’s composed finish from close range, following some fine footwork from Little on the left wing. Fifteen minutes later Miedema rounded Faye Baker and fired into an empty net, before Katie McCabe darted into the box and latched on to a drilled pass to make it three. Miedema would then go on to grab her second of the afternoon. The Netherlands International evaded her marker, before poking the ball past Baker with an instinctive finish inside the six-yard box.  The pressure continued and less than a minute...
