Arsenal continued their resurgence with a somewhat comfortable 3-1 win against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night. A brace from Danny Welbeck and a goal from Alexandre Lacazette saw off a Brentford side which gave Arsenal a scare in the second half as they pulled one back via a delightful free-kick scored by Brentford's Alan Judge. Alexandre Lacazette made sure Arsenal sailed to the fourth round of the Carabao cup when he burst through on goal and finished expertly beyond the goalkeeper.
