Germany's Joachim Low unsure of reasons behind Mesut Ozil snub
Germany have beaten Turkey to win the right to host the Euro 2024 championship, UEFA announced on Thursday. Fans across Germany stayed silent for 20 minutes of their club's games to protest against inconvenient kick-off times and supporter mistreatment by the German Bundesliga and German Soccer Federation. Germany coach Joachim Low has insisted he attempted to meet with Mesut Ozil at Arsenal's training ground on Monday but accepts the player does not want to talk after quitting the national team in July citing racism within the German FA.
