Arsenal manager Unai Emery has suggested that he would prefer to find an internal solution to providing squad depth in the wake of Danny Welbeck’s injury, as reported by the Express. The 27-year-old striker damaged his ankle in a midweek Europa League clash with Sporting. The injury looked serious at the time and the club have recently confirmed that the 42-cap England man has undergone an operation and could be out of action for some time.
