Arsenal told to go all out for rugged Liverpool star
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has called on his former club to make a shock move for Liverpool’s tough-tackling centre-back, Martin Skrtel. Although the Reds’ backline has been criticised for much of the past two years, the Slovakia captain has performed well and was the lynchpin of Brendan Rodgers' back three set-up in the early months of the year. But despite his importance on Merseyside, Skrtel is yet to sign a new contract to extend his stay at Anfield, which is set to end next summer.
