Atletico Madrid have reportedly lodged an £18m bid to sign out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil. Ozil's future at the Emirates Stadium appears uncertain, with the club's highest earner having seemingly fallen out of favour under manager Unai Emery. The German was left out of the matchday squad entirely for Saturday's 1-0 defeat to West Ham United, with Emery intimating after the match that he did not deserve to play.
