Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has blasted Arsenal's attempts to try to sign Ivan Perisic during the January transfer window. The Gunners were heavily linked with the winger during the closing days of the month, but the Premier League side were allegedly not prepared to agree terms over a loan with an obligation to buy. That has resulted in Perisic remaining at San Siro and although Spalletti has acknowledged that the Croatian was tempted with a switch to England, he has suggested that the player realised that Arsenal had not presented "a true offer".
