Sokratis, Aubameyang 5/10 as Arsenal collapse at Stade Rennes in Europa League

Sokratis' dismissal sent Arsenal into a tailspin from which they couldn't recover at Rennes. Arsenal suffered a disastrous 3-1 defeat in a hostile atmosphere against Ligue 1 side Rennes. The Gunners took an early lead through Alex Iwobi and appeared to be in control of the game until Sokratis Papastathopolous was sent off for two bookable offences. Benjamin Bourigeaud smashed home from the resulting free-kick, and an own-goal from Nacho Monreal gave the French outfit the advantage.
