Morning all. A few questions, that’s all. Does Unai Emery tell Xhaka to pass to the opposition? Does he tell Aubameyang to miss chance after chance in front of goal? What about Ozil slowing our attacks down by taking one extra turn in or outside so the ball is on his left foot? Or Xhaka to stick he’s feet, legs or any other part of his body into the legs of an opposing player in our own penalty area? Does anyone honestly believe he encourages a backwards or sideways pass instead of playing a forward ball? Movement off the ball, sure, Emery tells them not to even bother, after all, why not just stand still and make it easier for the opposition… Would he have really told them not...
