World Cup: Mead assists in quarter-final victory
We had two stars fighting for a place in the World Cup semi-finals on Friday. Read on to find out how they fared. Beth Mead claimed an assist as England beat Norway 3-0 to reach the semi-finals. Jill Scott opened the scoring with the Lionesses’ fastest-ever goal in Women’s World Cup history, netting after just two minutes and six seconds.
