Arsenal's 2019 summer pre-season tour of the United States ended in defeat. But still, it was a glorious and dramatic game against Real Madrid that had four goals, two red cards and, finally, a penalty shootout that saw the Gunners leave Washington DC defeated. It was hardly your stereotypical friendly fixture. Apart from it being a clash of two big players in European football and a complete anomaly in the context of pre-season friendlies, it was also a reunion of sorts for some of the players.
