Arsenal's first summer challenge in their own backyard did not really end the way the Gunners would have wished for. Unai Emery's troops hosted Lyon at the Emirates and their French opposition managed to snatch a tight 2-1 victory over the London team. Still, it was a good bout in the Emirates Cup and it will go a long way to getting the players ready for the upcoming start of the new Premier League season next month. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was once again on the scoresheet but his strike wasn't enough to give the Gunners the win.
