Chief Football Writer at The Times Henry Winter believes Granit Xhaka may look to leave Arsenal, in part to save his international career. The Arsenal captain, who is valued at £36m on Transfermarkt, hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons last week after reacting badly to his own fans booing him as he walked off the pitch. Xhaka appeared to swear at the Emirates crowd, then proceeded to goad them further before ripping off his shirt and trudging down the tunnel. Xhaka has since penned an apology (of sorts) to Arsenal’s supporters for his behaviour.
