Report: Bild journalist delivers transfer update on Bayern Munich man linked with Arsenal

According to a new update from Bild's Christian Falk, Bayern Munich are set to keep Jerome Boateng in the squad and he will not be permitted to leave the team in January. What's the word, then? Falk goes on to say that the reason behind Die Roten's stance is the small size of the current squad. With that in mind, letting Boateng leave in January would leave the Bavarian giants short at the back, and with the race for the title not looking favourable for them at the moment – seeing how they're lagging four points behind Leipzig – this is something they can't allow.
