Lampard ‘approved’ Chelsea transfer offer before hierarchy ignored request

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reportedly approved an offer for Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser in January but the club opted not to submit a bid. The talented winger is out of contract at the end of the season and will be free to sign for another club. Bournemouth are keen to extend his stay but Fraser looks ready to test himself at a bigger club. According to The Athletic, Chelsea boss Lampard was keen to offer him a way out in January. Lampard approved an offer but when it came to making their move the Stamford Bridge hierarchy opted against making one.
