Thomas Partey 'prefers Atletico Madrid stay above Arsenal move'

Thomas Partey would reportedly prefer to sign a new contract with Atletico Madrid over joining Arsenal in a big-money deal. The Gunners have already held talks with the Ghana international over a summer move and are supposedly prepared to meet the £44.5m release clause in his current contract. Partey's father confirmed earlier this week that Arsenal are not the only club interested in the midfielder, however, with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also supposedly keen to strike a deal.
