Pep Guardiola sounds Man City fitness warning ahead of Arsenal clash

Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City will not be physically ready for the demands of the Premier League season when it returns. Top-flight football will resume tomorrow following a three-month lockdown due to the Covid-19 crisis. City will host Arsenal at the Etihad to kick-start a congested run of games over the next month as Premier League bosses look to get the campaign finished. The reigning champions have 10 league games remaining but are also still in the latter stages of the Champions League and FA Cup.
