Premier League football finally returns today as reigning champions Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium. The two sides are playing their game in hand first up, like Aston Villa and Sheffield United this evening, so that all teams go into the first full weekend with an equal number of fixtures remaining. For Gunners manager Mikel Arteta, it is personally a significant night as he heads back to City for the first time since leaving the club as Pep Guardiola’s assistant to take the Arsenal job in December.
