PL: One positive coronavirus case in latest testing

The Premier League has confirmed it has received one positive test for coronavirus in the latest phase of mass testing. A total of 1,541 tests were carried out in the ninth round of testing in the Premier League, which was conducted on Monday and Tuesday. The player or club staff member who tested positive will now be required to self-isolate for a period of seven days. Since players returned to contact training last month, tests have been carried out twice a week and the league has seen a total of 17 positives in nine rounds of testing so far.
