Premier League talking points as Arsenal fall flat on first weekend back
The Premier League has returned and while it may not have been as thrilling as we had hoped, there was still plenty of action. Liverpool dropped points for just the third time this season while the relegation battle continues to heat up. Manchester United shared the points with Tottenham on Friday, allowing Chelsea to extend the gap to fourth to five points. European challengers Sheffield United fell to defeat at Newcastle while there were wins for Wolves, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
