Gabriel and agents arriving in London tomorrow to sign Arsenal contract
Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, despite competition from Napoli and Manchester United. The Gunners have been heavily linked with the Brazilian and Di Marzio are reporting that Magalhaes and his agents will arrive in London on Monday to finalise the move. A fee of 30m (£27m) has been agreed and the player will put pen to paper on a five-year contract worth 2m-a-year (£1.8m). Napoli's move was dependent on the sale of Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester City, while the Red Devils' late move to hijack the deal appears to have fallen through.
