Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta identifies Brentford coach as Ljungberg replacement

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to appoint Brentford coach Andreas Georgson to his backroom staff after the departure of Freddie Ljungberg. The Swede left his role with the Gunners on Saturday in order to pursue a career in management and Georgson has been identified as a replacement, according to the Evening Standard. Georgson is currently Brentford's head of set pieces and individual development, having joined Thomas Frank's set-up in September from Malmo. Arteta has previously appointed goalkeeper coach Inaki Cana Pavon from the Bees and Georgson looks set to follow suit. Club legend Dennis Bergkamp has also been linked with a coaching role.
