Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is stepping up his recovery from an ankle injury, but Mikel Arteta will still be without three other injured stars when the new Premier League season gets underway next month. The Gunners are gearing up for their Community Shield showdown with Liverpool this Saturday, having beaten London rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup final earlier this month.
