Sam Greenwood joins Leeds United

Young professional Sam Greenwood has joined Leeds United on a permanent deal. The 19-year-old forward joined us from Sunderland in July 2018 and enjoyed a fine debut season scoring ten and assisting five in the Under-18s. He signed professional terms with us in July 2019 and scored six goals from his 22 appearances at Under-18 and Under-23 level last season. Earlier in his career, Sam made his debut for Sunderland Under-18s at just 15 years of age and also scored 12 goals in 14 appearances for England Under-17s.
