Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to up their efforts to sign Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira. Having endured a mixed two years at the Emirates Stadium, Torreira is being tipped to return to Serie A, where he previously starred for Sampdoria. Fiorentina have been one of several Italian clubs to be linked with the Uruguay international, who is valued in excess of £20m. However, according to La Sampa, Viola want to put together a loan proposal which includes the obligation to buy the 24-year-old next summer.
