Arsenal are reportedly set to announce a new signing this afternoon (Image: GETTY) Arsenal will announce the arrival of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes with a video to be posted on YouTube and social media later this afternoon, according to reports in France. Arsenal have beaten off a host of top European clubs, including Manchester United, to strike a deal with the 22-year-old. The Gunners will pay Lille an initial £22m with the fee rising to around £27m. After a deal was struck between the two clubs, personal terms were easily agreed after the centre-back spoke to Mikel Arteta.
