From Arsenal's eight centre-backs who should go, stay and best pairing

For a team that has serious issues at the back Arsenal sure do have a lot of defenders. To be specific, they have eight centre-backs. In fairness Arsenal conceded (48) less than Chelsea (54) last season but Frank Lampard's side loved shipping goals. It is the fact they let in more than Manchester United (36), Leicester City (41), Wolves (40) and even Sheffield United (39) that will concern fans deeply. William Saliba joined the club from Saint-Etienne in 2019 but returned to spend last season on loan. He will be a welcome addition. Pablo Mari signed from Flamengo in January but injuries led him to making just three appearances. Yet there was enough there for Arsenal to make his switch...
