Arsenal fans plead for Aouar and Partey transfers after Aston Villa defeat

Arsenal supporters have called for two more incoming transfers this summer. The Gunners lost 3-2 at home to Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, and although Mikel Arteta is unlikely to be overly concerned, some fans have called for further additions. Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey were at the forefront of most of those requests, despite the pair playing in similar positions for Lyon and Atletico Madrid respectively. Aouar, 22, has impressed over the past three seasons in Ligue 1, while Partey, 27, is a Champions League regular under Diego Simeone in the Spanish capital.
