Mikel Arteta’s role changes at Arsenal as new responsibilities are explained

Arsenal chiefs have changed the title held by Mikel Arteta ahead of the new Premier League season. The Spaniard impressed at the Emirates after replacing Unai Emery last season, going on to win the FA Cup while securing qualification for Europe in the form of the Europa League. It has now been revealed by the club that the name of Arteta’s role has been altered ahead of the new campaign, and that he will now be referred to as their first-team manager rather than head coach.
