Emiliano Martinez missing from Arsenal squad because keeper is having medical
Emiliano Martinez was reportedly left out of Arsenal’s squad today in order to have a medical at Aston Villa. Martinez impressed in goal for the Gunners at the end of last season with regular keeper Bernd Leno having been ruled out through injury. But the German has regained his No. 1 spot for the Gunners with Martinez now looking for somewhere to play regular football. He missed out as Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0 in the opening weekend of the Premier League season, but could now feature in the league next week for Dean Smith's side.
