Lyon ‘to soften Houssem Aouar stance’ and should accept if Arsenal raise offer

Lyon are set to soften their stance on Houssem Aouar and will accept an improved bid from Arsenal, according to reports from France. Mikel Arteta has targeted Aouar to improve the Gunners' midfield, and the attacker midfielder is believed to have agreed personal terms. It has been reported that Lyon want £54million for the 22-year-old, who starred in the Ligue 1 side's run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
