Houssem Aouar could still join Arsenal before the summer transfer window closes. The Lyon playmaker has failed to inspire the Champions League semi-finalists into a winning start to the new Ligue 1 season, and they sit 11th after drawing three and losing one of their opening five fixtures. The 22-year-old was the subject of an official offer from the Gunners last week, but it was rejected by club president Jean-Michel Aulas who has since stated his desire to keep the midfielder.
