Arsenal keen on re-signing striker they sold for £540,000 back in 2017

Arsenal are reportedly keen to bring Donyell Malen back to the Emirates three years after allowing the striker to join PSV Eindhoven. Malen, 21, has developed into one of the most promising youngsters in European football at PSV, scoring 21 goals in his last 31 appearances for the Dutch outfit. Nevertheless, the young forward was previously on Arsenal’s books before being sold to PSV fort £540,000 in 2017. He spent two years in the club’s youth ranks after joining from Ajax’s Under-17s, but Gunners chiefs were clearly unconvinced and therefore decided to let him leave on a permanent basis.
