Premier League PPV meeting to see if £15 scheme is scrapped amid woeful figures

Premier League chiefs and shareholders will today discuss the issue with Pay-Per-View football. And the decision could be made to scrap the £14.95 scheme following its massive backlash over the past several weeks. Post-lockdown last season, all Premier League games were shown at no extra cost on TV. Broadcasting rights were shared across Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and the BBC. But this term, certain games have been made Pay-Per-View, including Newcastle vs Manchester United, Arsenal vs Leicester and West Brom vs Burnley.
