Internationals: Tierney books Euro 2020 place

Seven of our players saw their nations in international action on Thursday night. Here's how they got on: Kieran Tierney helped Scotland book their place at Euro 2020, playing the entirety of their crucial play-off with Serbia as they won on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Ryan Christie put Scotland ahead after 52 minutes with a strike that went in off the post, before Luka Jovic’s header in the 90th minute forced extra-time. There were no further goals in the additional 30 minutes, meaning Aleksandr Mitrovic’s penalty miss handed Scotland a 5-4 victory.
