Real Madrid 'tracking highly-rated Brazilian youngster'

Real Madrid are reportedly keeping a close eye on the development of Palmeiras youngster Gabriel Veron. The 18-year-old has been in impressive form for his Brazilian club this season, scoring eight times and registering three assists in 24 appearances in all competitions. Veron only recently signed a new long-term contract with Palmeiras, but the youngster's form has allegedly attracted the attention of a number of European clubs. According to TodoFichajes, Madrid have been scouting Veron this season, and the Spanish champions have been impressed by his development.
