Everton admit they knew Arsenal’s weakness in another worry for Mikel Arteta

Everton knew where they would be able to exploit Arsenal on Saturday evening. Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees earned a 2-1 victory after Nicolas Pepe’s penalty cancelled out an unfortunate own goal from stand-in captain Rob Holding. The winner came from the head of Yerry Mina from a corner, and the delivery by Gylfi Sigurdsson was deliberately trying to find a weakness at the near post. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has revealed the plan after the match, and also praised the support of the 2000 supporters that were allowed to attend.
